Parking is free for this event.  If you enter CBU from the main entrance on Magnolia, there is a visitor parking lot to your right.  If you need further assistance, stop at the kiosk and ask about parking.

Why:  Ready to learn to improve your public speaking and storytelling skills?  The Pick Group’s Professional Development Committee (PDC) is proud to announce the second in a series of professional development seminars: “Storytelling for Business.” 

Business leaders today understand the importance of storytelling in business. Storytelling is a very powerful tool used to create brand awareness, attract new customers, and keep existing customers happy. Used correctly, storytelling can help any business or individual stand out.  Attend this free seminar and learn the key points to crafting your story

Speaker: Roxann Anderson has used her bachelor of arts and teaching credential in English/Speech from University of California, Los Angeles to teach students from youth through adults the fine art of public speaking.  She is currently an expert presenter for the Riverside Community College Community Education Program's presentation skills classes.  A long-time Toastmaster, she holds the designation of Advanced Communicator--Gold.  She is a graduate of the National Speakers' Association Pro-Speak Academy.  Roxann offers personal speech coaching in both individual and group settings. She sharpens her own skills by speaking to church and community groups on the topics of marriage and family.
